Description
Contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism, normal homocysteine metabolism, normal psychological function, normal red blood cell formation, and the regulation of hormonal activity.
How It Works
P-5-P is the active coenzyme for more than 140 enzymatic reactions, including the transaminases of amino acid metabolism and the decarboxylases producing serotonin, dopamine and GABA.
Why This Form
The phosphorylated coenzyme supplied directly, so no hepatic conversion step is required. The dose is deliberately capped well below the threshold associated with sensory neuropathy in the pyridoxine literature.
What we rejected: High-dose pyridoxine HCl. This is one of the few nutrients where more is demonstrably worse, and several energy and stress formulas ignore the ceiling entirely.
The Research Behind It
Human trials measuring plasma P-5-P status and homocysteine endpoints, alongside the dose-response literature that defines the upper safety limit.
What The Evidence Does Not Show
The safety ceiling is the point of this product. We are not offering a larger number than competitors; we are offering a defensible one.
