Description
Evidence Tier · Randomized Controlled Trials
Coenzyme Q10 as ubiquinone at 200 mg per capsule.
What It Does
Supports cellular energy production and heart health.*
How It Works
CoQ10 carries electrons in the mitochondrial respiratory chain and acts as a lipid-soluble antioxidant. Heart muscle has among the highest CoQ10 concentrations in the body.
Why This Form
200 mg is within the dose range of the larger human trials. Ubiquinone is the form used in most of them.
Clinical Evidence
Bioavailability studies describe how dose and food affect plasma CoQ10.¹ The two-year Q-SYMBIO trial used 300 mg ubiquinone daily in adults under cardiology care.²
What The Evidence Does Not Show
Q-SYMBIO studied patients with a diagnosed condition and is cited here for dose and safety only. We make no disease claims. Ubiquinol may raise plasma levels more in some older adults. May reduce the effect of warfarin.
