Description
Evidence Tier · Controlled Human Trials
Japanese knotweed extract providing 300 mg trans-resveratrol per capsule.
What It Does
Provides antioxidant support and supports healthy blood vessel function.*
How It Works
Resveratrol activates AMPK and SIRT1 pathways in laboratory studies and acutely improves endothelial function in human trials.
Why This Form
Trans-resveratrol content is stated. Taking it with food improves absorption.
Clinical Evidence
A randomized crossover trial at Maastricht University gave 150 mg resveratrol daily for 30 days and measured energy metabolism in obese men.¹ An acute trial measured flow-mediated dilation after single doses of resveratrol.²
What The Evidence Does Not Show
Resveratrol has low oral bioavailability. Human results are inconsistent and many trials are short.
